What if my child is already working with a therapist?
Therapeutic mentoring is designed to complement, not replace, clinical therapy. Our mentors coordinate directly with existing providers to ensure your child’s support is consistent and connected.
Who provides these services?
All mentors are direct staff trained as mental health professionals. They are regularly supervised and meet all Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services requirements, including background checks.
Is this covered by Medicaid?
Yes. We accept Ohio Medicaid and are contracted with CareSource, Anthem, Humana, Molina, United Health, Amerihealth Caritas, Buckeye, OhioRise, Aetna, and Paramount. Self- pay options are also available — payment scales are discussed before intake.
What ages does this service cover?
Therapeutic Mentoring is available for youth and young adults ages 5–25.
Who can make a referral?
Parents and guardians, service providers, school administrators and counselors, courts, child protective services, and care management entities (CMEs) can all submit referrals.
